“Know yourself” is a large-scale installation dealing with new theories and questions in neuroscience and psychology. How are the functions of our consciousness and brain connected to our emotions? Built as a physical mind-map, the viewer is lead through a series of chambers representing different aspects and topics relating to new findings in neuroscience. The exhibition is an experiment where sculptural platforms activate the bodies of the visitors, drawing them into a discussion of how our cognitive reading of the world is manifested through our affect and emotions.

The exhibition was initiated by Article 31, a non-profit organization for engaging kids in the production of cultural values. The installations were inspired by workshops where kids, psychologist, neuroscientists and we, the artists, participated.
